Welcome to the Bachelor of Arts Academic Advising Office.   We are available to all students enrolled in the Bachelor of Arts Degree program at the University of Guelph. Our staff is here to help guide and assist students with course planning, course selection, interpreting university academic policies and procedures, and facilitating connections with important resources on campus.

Important Updates

NEW!!

  • A registration deposit of $500 is due by June 15, 2025. This deposit must be paid in order to register for courses.
  • This year, full-year course selection will take place. All students will register for both Fall 2025 and Winter 2026 courses during the course selection period
  • Course Selection for the Fall 25 semester begins on Monday, June 23, 2025 at 8:00 AM according to the number of credits completed and in progress.
  • Courses will be available for review on  WebAdvisor starting Tuesday, June 17, 2025. You can begin planning your timetable at that time.
  • Semester Overload Requests (Beyond 2.75 Credits)
    • Approval from our office is required to register for more than 2.75 credits. Overloading up to a maximum of 3.25 credits will only be permitted for students in their final year who need the extra credits to graduate.
